About us

M&G Prudential is the UK and European savings and investments business of Prudential plc, the global financial services group.

We were formed in August 2017 through the combination of M&G Investments, the international asset manager founded in 1931, and Prudential’s UK and European insurance and savings business, one of the oldest businesses in the industry with roots going back to 1848.

Investing for the future

Find out how our customers’ money helps create jobs, homes and vital infrastructure in the real economy. Please remember that the value of investments will fluctuate, which will cause fund prices to fall as well as rise and you may not get back the original amount you invested.

Together we manage the long-term savings of more than seven million people in the UK and across Europe, Asia and the Americas. Our customers include individual savers and investors, life insurance policyholders and members of pension schemes.

Under the Prudential brand, we offer long-term savings and retirements solutions to help people plan for their future with confidence. This includes products invested in our With-Profits Fund, the largest of its kind in the UK. The Prudential With-Profits Fund aims to smooth some of the extreme ups and downs of short term investment performance to provide a more stable return.

M&G is home to our asset management operation, where our team of more than 350 investment professionals take a long-term approach to investment. We encourage them to think creatively, act with conviction and work collaboratively to meet our customers’ ever changing needs.

Our total customer assets are £341.9 billion (as at 30th June 2018) in savings and investments spread across bonds, equities, infrastructure, property, alternatives and cash.

Headquartered in London, we have offices in 18 countries and distribute M&G funds in 23 territories. Prudential products are available in the UK, Ireland and Poland
